Performance Improvement Plan of Air Circulation-Type Solar Heat-Storage System Using Ventilated Cavity of Roof

Indoor solar-heating systems that use ventilated roofs have drawn attention in recent years. The effectiveness and efficiency of such air-heating vary depending on the design operation methods. In Japan, by introducing outside air into a roof cavity circulating indoors, simultaneously obtain ventilation, solar heating, heat-storage effects been actively developed. conventional intake large volume to increase heat collection effect. However, there is risk loss over-drying when amount cold dry during winter introduced. this paper, plans are presented for improving these heating preventing using indoor circulation via cavities wall. By comparing results proposed system with those numerical simulation, load found be reduced 50% or more storing Moreover, an increased relative humidity approximately 10% was confirmed reducing intrusion keeping moisture indoors.
